Contained and View
There are few things that bind you like a twisted painful rope. His pain and agony are shown through this portrait. In his eyes you can feel his sadness. He is contained and wants to be free.
Take my picture. An unusual way to frame a face, perhaps. Narrowing down the background noise makes it possible to focus in on what really matters: this child.

Echos
The series "Echo." Looking through the gate fence you can hear the echo of a father and son talking and laughing while they cast; a mother yelling to her children to come inside for hot chocolate after a long day on the water. The cool colors give a serious tone to the photo, but at the same time it is a happy image.
