Tradition

Using a Nikon D 3000 I took this picture of "tradition." You can feel the love of a grandfather and a grandson sharing a hug before a thanksgiving meal. The proud emotion of a grandpa watching his grandson grow in size and in knowledge spills into the viewers eyes. 

Landscape

A cold late fall night just as the sun is going down. You can taste the crispness on your lips and feel the chill down your spine. A mother and father standing on their dock looking over at where their children play throughout the summer. One last time, before they make a journey back to reality, where ever that may be, they exchange a loving embrace, and leave this landscape in their memories.

I am currently trying to find a balance between these two Holga prints. 

After a long, stressful day he sits down and does the one thing that takes his mind off of the world. The mysterious and creepy background capture his feelings about life, and his current relations with the world. He knows there is a road ahead of him. He knows he must take it, but for now, let him have this moment.
